MEDIA PREVIEW: Michigan International Auto Show (1/31/07)
January 23, 2007 As a valued member of the media, you are invited to a sneak peak at the 9h Annual Michigan International Auto Show on Wednesday, January 31 from 1-3 p.m. If you are interested in stopping by that afternoon, please let me know by 5 p.m. on January 29 so that I can add you to the list. During this time, you will have a chance to check out the complete selection of cars, talk with some of the dealers, take photographs and/or video and get a real feel for this event - the most widely attended annual event in Grand Rapids. This includes the 300+ cars on display, as well as the Million Dollar Motorway (and the $2.1 million Maserati MC12) and the vintage vehicles from Gilmore Car Museum. We're also excited to announce that Indy 500 winner Tom Sneva and jet dragster driver Jessie Harris will also be attending the Media Preview and will be available for interviews throughout the afternoon. Both Tom and Jessie will be on hand later in the evening for the Charity Gala and will make public appearances at the show on Thursday; Jessie will also be at the show on Friday. By now, you should have received your media kit with all the details about the show, as well as your media badge and two complimentary passes for friends/family. If you have not, please contact me and I will email these releases to you. I am here to provide you with promotional photos, interview opportunities and anything else that you may need for covering this show.
