Amerityre Provides Additional Details on Management Succession Plan

Founder Richard Steinke Will Continue in Key Technology Development Role After Stepping Down as CEO in October

BOULDER CITY, Nev., Jan. 23 -- Amerityre Corporation , a leading developer of polyurethane elastomer tire technologies, today provided additional details on the management succession plan announced on January 17, 2007.

Over the past year, Amerityre Corporation's Board of Directors has been discussing the need to implement a formal succession plan for its senior management, including for its founder and CEO, Richard Steinke, in order to assure continuity of operations and ongoing refinement of its technology as the Company continues its transition from the development stage. The Board of Directors views the implementation of such a plan to be an essential part of its oversight of corporate governance and considers the preparation and adoption of a plan a positive and necessary step in the Company's growth.

As announced on January 17, Mr. Steinke will continue in his position as CEO until October 2007, after which he will continue to work for the Company on refining existing products and chemical systems as well as further technology development. The Board believes that Richard Steinke has been and will continue to be an essential and integral part of the Company operations not only through his remaining tenure as CEO but also beyond that period as a full time technology consultant under a long-term contract with the Company.

Mr. Steinke's decision to begin the process of removing himself from his time-consuming executive duties is primarily designed to allow him the opportunity to focus on critical technical and research and development work required to bring the Company's many projects to fruition.
