Second Annual MOPAR-PRI Sprint & Midget Classic Presented by FedEx To Be
Cablecast Nationally On ESPN2 On January 28th
BRISTOL, TN - Masters Entertainment Group has announced that the 2nd Annual
MOPAR PRI Sprint & Midget Classic Presented by FedEx will be cablecast on
ESPN2, Sunday, January 28, at 11:00 a.m. Eastern Time. This one-hour long
program will showcase the 40-lap Midget and 40-lap Sprint Car features, and
will highlight both the Ford Focus Midget competition and 600 Racing Legends
Car Invitational held at Orlando SpeedWorld, on Friday, December 15, 2006.
A repeat broadcast of the MOPAR PRI Sprint & Midget Classic
Presented by FedEx will air on Monday, February 12, at 5 p.m. Eastern Time.
Stephen Cox will anchor the ESPN2 broadcast, with expert race
color commentary provided by Larry Rice, former USAC National Midget
Champion and the 1978 Indy 500 Rookie of the Year. Doc Riley will handle pit
reporter duties.
The MOPAR PRI Sprint & Midget Classic Presented by FedEx was
produced in conjunction with the 19th Annual Performance Racing Industry
Trade Show, which is the world's largest racing trade show. It was held
December 14-16, 2006, at the Orange County Convention Center, in Orlando.
More than 45,000 racing entrepreneurs from over 40 countries attended the
Show, which has more than 1,400 companies exhibiting the latest advances in
auto racing technology.
