Cars.com Taps Veteran Sales Manager to Lead National Dealer Accounts

Maureen Taylor Promoted to Director of National Accounts

CHICAGO, Jan. 22 -- Cars.com announced today the promotion of Maureen Taylor to director of national accounts. In her new role, Taylor will lead Cars.com's national dealer business, strengthening current partnerships and developing new business opportunities. Spearheading relationships with the nation's largest dealer groups, she'll work with partners such as Enterprise Rent-A-Car, CarMax, Auto Finance, AutoNation, Inc., DCH Auto Group, United Auto Group, Inc., Lithia Motors, Inc., Sonic Automotive, Inc., and Group 1 Automotive, Inc. to optimize their online performance and develop new opportunities to reach online car buyers.

A Cars.com sales management veteran, Taylor joined Cars.com in 2002 as an affiliate sales manager, working with newspaper partners to drive local sales success. Most recently, Taylor served as affiliate sales director, managing channel relationships for media companies Belo and The McClatchy Company. She has played a critical role in growing Cars.com's local dealer network, working in markets across the country to build effective online solutions, sales strategies and marketing plans. Prior to joining Cars.com, Taylor began her career in internet advertising by working as a computer consultant in website design and usability for leading firms such as Accenture and Inforte.
