Brandon Knupp Buckeye Preview

Knupp Buckeye Bound

For Immediate Release

(1/19/07 - Mooresville, NC) - Brandon Knupp is loading up his midget and
heading back home to Ohio to compete in the indoor USAC midget race for the
Inaugural Rumble in the Buckeye State. The Ohio State Expo Center and Coliseum is
hosting the Rumble Series this weekend at the Ohio State Fairgrounds in
Columbus, Ohio.

Knupp, a veteran of midgets and a driver in the ARCA RE/MAX Series raced his
midget back in December at the Rumble in Fort Wayne, with strong results,
finishing both nights in the Top-10 of both mains events and a consi win.

The last couple of weeks for Knupp have been a mix of extremes. December 29
and 30 saw Knupp in his midget indoors on the 1/10 mile track at the Fort
Wayne Coliseum, from there he headed to the 2.5 mile lightning fast high banks
of Daytona International Speedway to test a NASCAR Craftsman Truck, just this
past weekend and now back to the midget and another 1/10 mile concrete track
at the Ohio Expo Center.

"I've been keeping myself pretty busy, working on the midget for these two
indoor races and I think we had a strong car at Fort Wayne, we're looking for
Columbus to be even better." Said Knupp, "I got the opportunity to go to
Daytona to test a NASCAR Craftsman Truck last weekend and it was something that
came together at the last minute, so we just jumped in the truck and headed
down to Daytona." Knupp added, "It was an awesome experience, I mean I was just
in Daytona in December testing Bob Schacht's ARCA car, but the truck was a
whole new experience for me and I can honestly say it was a lot of fun and I
learned a lot."

Brandon will have his midget at the Ohio Expo Center for the Rumble in the
Buckeye State on Saturday, January 20. The Rumble Series includes several
divisions, USAC National Midgets, Ford Focus Midgets, Kenyon Cars, Wingless
600's, Go Karts and Lucas Oil Quarter Midgets. Spectator gates open at 12 Noon,
with all divisions practicing in the afternoon, midget time trials are set
for 5:00 PM, 4:45 - 6:45 drivers are scheduled for media interviews and
autographs. Midget time trials are scheduled for 5:00 PM with midget heats set for
7:00 PM with all main events to follow.
