David J. Arthur Joins NaturalNano's Scientific Advisory Board

ROCHESTER, N.Y.--NaturalNano, Inc. (OTCBB:NNAN) (FWB:N3N) (www.naturalnano.com), a materials science company, today announced the appointment of David J. Arthur to its Scientific Advisory Board.

David Arthur's consulting firm, Chasm, specializes in bridging the chasm between research and product commercialization, so is well-aligned with NaturalNano's plan to commercialize the Pleximer product by the end of 2007. Cathy Fleischer PhD, President and CTO of NaturalNano, stated, “Dave's extensive experience in polymer science and commercialization of nanomaterials will be critical to our Pleximer product development plans in the coming year."

Pleximer, which NaturalNano plans to offer commercially in fourth quarter 2007, is a turnkey nanocomposite additive enabling stronger, lighter materials for the $40 billion dollar polymer composite industry. Pleximer additives consist of halloysite clay nanotubes concentrated and mixed with various polymer materials using the Company’s proprietary process.

Mr. Arthur has more than 25 years experience commercializing products utilizing advanced materials, working at Rogers Corporation, AT Cross Company, TPI Composites, Helix Technology Corporation and Eikos, Inc. He is co-founder of Chasm Technologies, Inc., a consulting firm that specializes in helping start-up companies commercialize nanotechnology. He is also CEO of SouthWest NanoTechnologies, Inc., a manufacturer of single wall carbon nanotubes. Mr. Arthur has a BS in Chemical Engineering from Tufts University, a MS in Chemical Engineering from the University of Connecticut, and an MBA from Northeastern University. He is a member of American Institute of Chemical Engineers, Materials Research Society, Society for the Advancement of Material and Process Engineering, and Society for Information Display. Mr. Arthur is an inventor on more than 25 patents.
