The National Vehicle Leasing Association Hires LRG, Inc. to Provide Management Services
ALEXANDRIA, Va., Jan. 5, 2007 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- As the market changes and auto leasing becomes a more attractive option to consumers -- up 21 percent since 2005, according to data from automobile website Edmunds.com -- the National Vehicle Leasing Association (NVLA) has been making changes of its own -- beginning with its announcement today to hire LRG, Inc., to manage its organization. LRG will be predominantly responsible for developing user-friendly membership databases, maintaining the association's financial records, facilitating member-to-member communications, and providing administrative support for NVLA's national conference and expo.
NVLA is the country's leading membership organization in its field, representing many facets of the vehicle leasing industry -- from automobile dealerships to independent vehicle leasing companies to banks and suppliers.
"For over a year, NVLA has searched for a new management company, and from the beginning LRG stood above the rest due to its experience, integrity, positive focus, and organizational skills," said David Blassingame, NVLA President. "In just a few weeks, LRG has already proven to be a tremendous asset as we plan for 2007."
For five consecutive years, LRG has been listed as one of the top 15 public affairs firms in the competitive Washington, DC metropolitan area by the Washington Business Journal. Based in Old Town Alexandria, Virginia, LRG is a woman-owned small business, specializing in association management, strategic communications, and government relations. Since its inception in 1998, LRG has managed and provided services for multiple associations, including the Association of Defense Communities, the National Job Corps Association, the International Economic Development Council, the National Organization of Rehabilitation Partners, and the Association of Private Correctional and Treatment Organizations, among others.
"LRG is honored and delighted to be working with NVLA," said LaVera Leonard, LRG president. "Our goal is to demonstrate a 'can-do' attitude in everything we do and always to reflect our company motto: 'creativity, tenacity, results'."
