2007 North American International Auto Show Luncheon at the Detroit Economic Club

DETROIT, Jan. 5, 2007 -- On Friday, January 12, 2007, the Detroit Economic Club (DEC) is pleased to continue their tradition of celebrating the opening of the 2007 North American International Auto Show, with featured speaker, the Honorable Kwame Kilpatrick, mayor, city of Detroit. The meeting will be held from noon to 11:30 p.m. at Cobo Center in Detroit, MI, and is co- hosted by the North American International Auto Show.

Each attendee will receive two weekday tickets to the 2007 Auto Show, courtesy of the Detroit Auto Dealers Association.

DEC was formed in 1934 as a platform for the discussion and debate of important business, government and social issues. It is known internationally as a top speaking forum for prominent business and government leaders, who address members and their guests at the Club's 35 meetings a season. With more than 3,000 members, the DEC is about vital issues, prominent voices, a commitment to education and inspiring leadership. The Club is proud to have hosted every sitting U.S. President since Richard Nixon and proud to be ranked among the top speaking platforms in the world. Admission: $35 for DEC members, $40 for guests of members and $50 for nonmembers.
