FRIENDSHIP MOTOR SPEEDWAY CONTINUES TO SEE BENEFITS OF

ASA MEMBER TRACK PROGRAM

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. (January 5, 2007) - Randy Myers, promoter of Friendship
Motor Speedway, is a supporter of the ASA Member Track program. He sees the
benefits of the partnership, and understands the value that his track and
racers receive is far more than he could obtain with another sanction or on
his own as the operator of a short track.

"We have been part of the ASA Member Track program almost since the
beginning," Myers said. The 0.40-mile, tight D-shaped oval in Elkin, N.C.,
first opened as a dirt track in 1982. It operated as such for several years,
and then was paved in 2003. The following year, Myers and his partners Danny
Baker and Thomas Needham began their association with the ASA Member Track
program.

"We've been with Dennis (Huth, president of the ASA Member Track program)
and ASA for three years now and I hope that we will be with them for a very
long time. The things that Dennis is able to do are something that we as
individual track operators cannot do by ourselves. He is able to customize
the ASA program for every track. Each one of us needs different things and
he can do that for all the different tracks," Myers explained.

As a Level I participant, Friendship Motor Speedway is entitled to marketing
assistance, enhanced participant accident insurance, and contributions to
their year-end point fund, an issue that Myers says is extremely popular
with the competitors.

"The points fund contributions goes a long way for our guys," Myers said.
"We are able to help to put something back into their pockets and for nearly
everyone racing at the short track level it helps to go a long way in
keeping them on the track year after year."

"The new TOPIC insurance program has also been great for Friendship and all
the tracks under the ASA program, really. I am just tickled to death to have
Dennis at the helm and are very satisfied with what is going on."

The ASA insurance program, always noted for its excellent, has been further
enhanced by the recently announced partnership with TOPIC Motorsports
Insurance (TMI). ASA Member Track operators are able to purchase general and
excess liability, automobile, an expanded ASA-exclusive $500,000 participant
accident medical, workers compensation and health insurance directly from
TMI. Details are available online at www.TOPICinsurance.com

Friendship Motor Speedway experimented with a Saturday night program in
2005, but last season returned to their traditional Friday night schedule.
They will maintain this schedule in 2007 now having found their niche. Myers
explained that their four main weekly divisions which compete at Friendship
Motor Speedway will all be back on the schedule and race under the same
rules packages.

"The ASA Late Models are our featured class and they are really popular with
the fans. They put on a heck of a show and it will be fun to see if the
other drivers can catch Terry Gaither, our track champion, next year," he
said. "The ASA Mini Stocks is also one of our main divisions. "06" Champion,
Brady Williams, is retiring but young drivers like Andrew Durham and Jake
Creed will insure the divisions continued growth. Last season we saw a lot
of growth in the both the ASA Super Chargers and the ASA Chargers and I
think that the car count will be even better in 2007 in these classes, at
least it looks that way."

In addition to the weekly program, a variety of touring series will visit
Friendship Motor Speedway including the ASA Southern Modifieds, Rolling
Thunder Modifieds, Allison Legacy Series, Flathead Fords and Vintage race
cars. Sprint car fans will be glad to hear that the USAC Midgets will be
making a return visit as well.

Though the schedule has not been released, it will be shortly and posted on
the track web site at www.FriendshipMotorSpeedway
<http://www.friendshipmotorspeedway/> where fans and teams can find all
types of information, including directions, point standings, rules, and much
more. The track office can also be reached by phoning (336) 972-4362.

"I'm really glad that Randy Myers and the competitors and fans at Friendship
Motor Speedway have come back aboard the ASA Member Track program for their
fourth consecutive season," Huth said. "I consider Randy a true friend and
with short track racing so popular in the Southeast, and especially in North
Carolina, and the competition so close and exciting that I know one of these
days Randy is going to be calling all excited about how some of his drivers
are moving up and tearing it up in the professional ranks. ASA has such a
great history of helping drivers to learn about racing and improve their
skills and Friendship Motor Speedway is helping to continue that legacy."
