Society of Automotive Analysts' 2007 Automotive Outlook Conference Features Toyota's Jim Press as Keynoter
ANN ARBOR, Mich., Jan. 4, 2007 -- The Society of Automotive Analysts (SAA) presents its 19th annual Automotive Outlook Conference Tuesday, January 9, 2007 in conjunction with the North American International Auto Show (NAIAS). The theme of this year's conference is "The 2007 Industry Inflection Point: Where Market Demand, Financial Ownership and Labor Contracts Intersect."
Highlights of the conference include - - perennial sales projections from the chief economists of Detroit's Big Three -- Van Jolissaint (DaimlerChrysler), Ellen Hughes-Cromwick (Ford Motor Company) and Mustafa Mohatarem (General Motors); - Wim van Acker of Roland Berger Strategy Consultants presenting their very recent global study on low cost cars; - Respected analysts Michael Robinet of CSM Worldwide and Kim Korth of IRN, Inc. presenting their takes on the year ahead; - Detroit News associate business editor Daniel Howes, dean of Detroit business and automotive writers; and - Jim Press, president of Toyota Motor North America, delivering the luncheon keynote address.
Conference registration includes a continental breakfast and keynote luncheon, plus a FREE Analyst Pass to the North American International Auto Show during Press Week - good on Tuesday, January 9 until 7:00 pm.
The conference will run from 8:00 am (networking breakfast at 7:00 am) to approx 1:45 pm at the Detroit Marriott Renaissance Center in downtown Detroit.
