FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Daniels Dominates in Mazda MX-5 Cup on SPEED This Weekend

TOPEKA, Kan. (Dec. 22, 2006) - Point leader Jim Daniels, of Germantown,
Tenn., will start on pole for both the Portland and Trois-Rivieres
rounds of the SIRIUS Satellite Radio Mazda MX-5 Cup Presented by Hankook
airing this weekend on SPEED.

First catch Round Five from Portland, Saturday, Dec. 23 at 4:00 p.m.
(EST). Holding only a single point lead in the Championship over Todd
Buras, of Melbourne, Fla., Jim Daniels will start on pole next to
teammate Jason Saini, of Fort Worth, Texas. Daniels and Saini finished
1-2 in the previous round at Mid-Ohio. Does Saini have what it takes
this round to take the checkered flag ahead of his MER teammate?

Next up at 4:30 p.m. (EST) watch Round Six from Trois-Rivieres in
Quebec, Canada. Continuing on his hot streak, Daniels once again takes
the pole position. Daniels will start alongside his closest competitor
in the Championship points, Buras. Buras suffered a DNF at Portland and
will be desperate to make up the ground lost to Daniels in the
Championship. No doubt Buras is hungry for the win, but Daniels has a
flawless record when starting from pole. Throw a full-course yellow and
a charging Anders Hainer, of Hidden Hills, Calif., in the mix and it's
anybody's race to win.
