Danica Patrick, Andretti Green Racing Complete First Test Together

HOMESTEAD, Fla. (Dec. 20, 2006) - Team Motorola driver Danica Patrick wrapped up her first day of testing Wednesday with Andretti Green Racing, six days after the original test day was scrubbed by rain. Patrick and her crew used the day to put the #7 Motorola Dallara/Honda/Firestone through its paces before a mechanical failure cut the session short near the end of the afternoon session.

DANICA PATRICK, #7 MOTOROLA DALLARA/HONDA/FIRESTONE: "Overall, I think we had a pretty good day. We tried a bunch of different setups, and just really used the day to get comfortable with each other and help them understand what I like to feel in the car. It was too bad we had the problem at the end of the day, but that's the way things go sometimes."

KIM GREEN, CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER, ANDRETTI GREEN RACING "We're not really sure what happened with the car at the end of the day. We know we had a mechanical failure, but we're not exactly sure what it was yet. "Danica did a good job in the car all day. It was really a 'get-to-know-you'-type day and I think she is going to fit in great with everyone at our place. At AGR, you need to be quick in the race car, but also have a quick wit and I think she's going to do just fine with both of those."
