The first contract is to provide the InfoLogix PowerCube solution for DTG's new Rental Counter Point of Sale (POS) system at over 450 DTG corporate store locations throughout North America. The PowerCube computing platform will enable an interactive customer rental experience.
In addition, InfoLogix has signed a five-year outsource services contract with DTG to provide a mobile managed services solution. Under this contract InfoLogix will be responsible for all Level II Help Desk issues, services, support, project management, spare pool operations and maintenance of all field technology. Field technology includes all rental counter POS systems, handheld computers, wireless communications and GPS. DTG has also transferred five field technology employees to InfoLogix. As part of the solution, DTG will have access to the InfoLogix customer care portal, a customized web portal that provides real-time access to critical system information and reports.
"InfoLogix was a great fit because of their proven ability to support DTG's mission -- critical field technologies and their willingness to think out-of-the-box to meet our specific support requirements," said Vic Alonzi, Vice President, Information Technology, for DTG. "The partnership and team focus to provide technology that enhances the customer experience and controls DTG's costs were keys to our selection."
"Listening to our customers and providing solutions that make sense have been paramount to our success," adds Craig Wilensky, EVP of InfoLogix. "InfoLogix Outsource Services and PowerCube computing platform will allow DTG to focus on their core competency, delivering value to their customers, while leveraging our experience to support the technology that delivers that value."
