JEGS joins SpeedFreaks

JEGS joins SpeedFreaks

DELAWARE, Ohio (December 19, 2006) - JEGS Automotive Inc, an industry leader
in high-performance mail order parts, has become a sponsor of the popular
SpeedFreaks television and radio shows. JEGS will be featured prominently on the
set of the upcoming SpeedFreaks show, which will air on ESPN2, as well as
the nationally-syndicated SpeedFreaks radio program. The familiar yellow and
black colors of JEGS will also seen throughout their popular website
(_www.speedfreaks.tv_ (http://www.speedfreaks.tv/) ) where fans can go to download
their favorite media, video, Podcasts and more.

"I remember doing the SpeedFreaks show when they first got started and it's
been fun watching them grow," three-time NHRA champion Jeg Coughlin said. "The
upcoming shows on ESPN2 will be exciting to be a part of and we're psyched
about reaching all of the markets they hit on Sunday nights with their radio
show."

"To be associated with JEGS is like getting a seat in the United Nations,"
says SpeedFreaks founder Kenny Sargent. "JEGS Mail Order is the motherload
hands down. Plus, having three time NHRA Champion and Coughlin namesake
dropping into the SpeedFreaks Pits from time to time, our seat is now front row."

SpeedFreaks' weekly, two-hour radio program can be heard in many markets
across the country including Los Angeles, San Francisco, Dallas, Chicago,
Houston, Las Vegas, Miami, Detroit, Phoenix, San Diego, Indianapolis, Charlotte and
Salt Lake City. SpeedFreaks can also be heard on The Sports Byline Radio
Network, SIRIUS Satellite Radio, The Armed Forces Network and live on the
Internet.

"We like the fact we'll be reaching a very diverse and broad group of
motorsports fans with this program," said Scott Woodruff, JEGS director of media &
motorsports. "We believe that the listeners of SpeedFreaks will expand our
brand awareness from Motocross to NASCAR to SCORE Off-Road racing and beyond.
The idea is for this partnership to compliment what we're doing in the various
forms of motorsports where we have a presence.

"The message we want to get to all fans of motorsports is that JEGS is the
first and only place they need to supply them with all of their high
performance needs. We want people to know we have free 1-2 day delivery, millions of
parts from our vast inventory, great prices and the best in customer service."

Started in 2000, SpeedFreaks includes a wild cast of characters led by Kenny
Sargent and the "Mod Squad of Motorsports" -- Statt Mann Caruthers, Lugg
Nuttz, and Crash Gladys.

"They do things a little differently on the show and they definitely enjoy
what they're doing," Coughlin said. "I think their fans really appreciate their
no-holds-barred style and the racers always seem to get a kick out of doing
an interview that doesn't consist of the same old questions. It will be fun
to be a part of them in the year ahead."

SpeedFreaks will debut a special TV show on ESPN2 in the coming year.
