LOT Polish Airlines Appoints CarTrawler(TM) for Strategic Car Hire Distribution Agreement

DUBLIN, December 19 -- LOT Polish Airlines and CarTrawler.com(TM) the worlds fastest growing car rental distribution system have signed a 3 year agreement enabling the Star Alliance member airline to offer a dynamically packaged and standalone car rental offering for visitors to www.lot.com. Under the agreement LOT will use the CarTrawler(TM) distribution system to retrieve real-time inventory and pricing from over 450 car hire suppliers in over 134 countries worldwide including all destinations serviced by LOT.

This marks the very first time an airline has used a multi-supplier real-time feed directly into the inventories of the top car rental companies - guaranteeing an unsurpassed level of availability and quality to the users of www.lot.com. In a market plagued by supply and pricing inefficiencies, LOT will use the multi-supplier solution from CarTrawler.com(TM) to provide a superior level of availability and revenue management than traditional channels for car rental supply.
