Visteon Confirms Terminated Discussions with GKN plc Regarding Possible Sale of Driveline Assets in Europe and South America

VAN BUREN TOWNSHIP, Mich., Dec. 19, 2006 -- Visteon Corporation confirmed today that discussions regarding the possible sale of certain Visteon driveline assets in Europe and South America to GKN plc have terminated.

Visteon continues to explore other alternatives for these assets as it restructures its businesses as part of the company's three-year improvement plan.
