Hyundai VP of Sales Joins DaimlerChrysler
WASHINGTON, DC - December 13, 2006: The AIADA newsletter reported that Mark Barnes, vice president of sales for Hyundai Motor America, left the company today to join DaimlerChrysler's Western region office as a senior sales executive, reports Automotive News.
During Barnes' five year tenure at Hyundai, the automaker's sales have soared. "Obviously, this is a significant loss to Hyundai," Hyundai's new COO Steve Wilhite said. "In my brief tenure at Hyundai, I developed a strong appreciation for his leadership values and level of trust he built with our dealers."
