December 11, 2006

Specialized Technical Services (STS), a leading regional provider of integrated IT solutions has been conferred the status of Forum Partner for the Jordan ICT Forum 2006, following a partnership agreement signed recently between the company and the Amman-based voluntary organisation, Information Technology Association (int@j).

The agreement was signed between Humam Mufti, General Manager, STS and member of the int@j board of directors and Mustafa Nasereddin, chairman of int@j. As a Forum Partner, STS will showcase its AlertONE, PayONE and CommandONE range of business, payment and networking solutions for enterprises and medium organisations from Jordan, the Middle East and North Africa through the company's nine square metre stall during the event, which is scheduled to take place at the Dead Sea on December 6 and 7.

Ramzi Zeine, Chairman, STS said: "STS' agreement with int@j underscores our continuous support to the Jordanian government's visionary policy of making ICT the backbone of the kingdom's economy and building the country into a hub for the regional ICT industry. STS is committed to the effective development of the regional IT sector and will use the opportunity provided by the Forum to maximise exposure for our high-performing, specialist solutions that enable our clients to achieve business targets and optimise their return-on-investment."

Fully built on .NET technology, STS' AlertONE solution addresses all SMS needs of GSM operators. Its user-centric design, developed by STS' BusinessONE division, possesses much-needed features such as advanced billing, seamless integration with other operator infrastructure systems, advanced filtering and blocking tools.

The PayONE Platform is BusinessONE's electronic payment and transfer solution that allows customers to make secure online and real-time electronic payments and transfers using multiple payment methods and transfer types that result from different electronic channels starting from the Internet and expanding to include ATMs, IVR, Kiosks and POS Terminals.

STS' Service Oriented Architecture-based CommandONE solution facilitates business monitoring, work processes management and collaborative work environment in customer service organisations. CommandONE seeks to serve the needs of medium to large organisations looking for efficiency, rapid response to market stimuli, standardisation and reliability in the management of daily business processes.
