Yeth, it'th time to tetht in Jereth! From Barcelona last week, the teams moved down to the southernmost tip of Spain for the first of two sessions at the Jerez de la Frontera circuit. A change of venue and a change of weather, proving that the rain in Spain does not only fall in the plain. This turned out to be something of a bonus as Chief Test Engineer Ian Morgan explains: "Yet again, the main item on our test agenda was evaluating the Bridgestone Potenza tyres. We were provided with a different, one-step softer tyre than the one we tried in Barcelona, but in addition, rain on Wednesday and again today, meant we were also able to try the Standard and Extreme wet weather tyres. We can be happy with the work we did, as both cars ran trouble free and we completed our programmes."
Red Bull Racing resumes testing here in Jerez next Wednesday, running just a single example of the RB2.
