WHAT: Identity theft can affect everyone, particularly during the busy holiday season. Identity theft is one of the fastest growing crimes in the United States. Last year, more than 9 million Americans were victimized by identity theft, according to the Federal Trade Commission. DaimlerChrysler Financial Services is presenting a 1-hour seminar on consumer fraud awareness to members of the Detroit Chapter of the Association of Chinese Americans (ACA).
