Live Unveiling of the 2007 North American Car and Truck of the Year Finalists at the Detroit Economic Club
DETROIT, Dec. 6, 2006 -- On Wednesday, December 13, 2006, the Detroit Economic Club (DEC) is honored to be the chosen forum for the live unveiling of the 2007 North American Car and Truck of the Year (NACTOY) finalists. The unveiling will be the centerpiece of the Club's special 11:00 a.m. meeting at Cobo Center. Preceding the live unveiling, three distinguished automotive journalists will discuss the merits and new features of the 2007 models, and the selection process to determine the finalists for North American Car and Truck of the Year. The panel discussion will be moderated by John McElroy.

Following the panel discussion, each of the six finalist models will be on display for club members, guests and members of the news media to view in- person.
The meeting will be held from 11:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at Cobo Center in Detroit, MI, and is co-hosted by the North American International Auto Show, where the winners of the North American Car and Truck of the Year (NACTOY) will be announced in January.
DEC was formed in 1934 as a platform for the discussion and debate of important business, government and social issues.
