First System to be Implemented at Automotive News

PORTLAND, Ore., Dec. 5 -- News Technologies, LLC announced today Crain Communications, Inc., a large group media company with more than 30 publications, selected TriggerNews Private Label Multi-Brand as their desktop news alerting platform. The first system will be implemented at Automotive News -- one of their flagship publications and the premier business-to-business periodical in the automotive industry -- and should be widely available later this month for general use.

The thousands of users, who come to AutomotiveNews.com daily for industry information, will have the ability to receive personalized desktop news alerts through a popup and, if they wish, an e-mail digest. Alerts will be filtered and sent based on users selecting their own categories of interest and/or entering their own personal trigger (filter) words or phrases, thereby ensuring they receive only the relevant news they want to receive.
