AIA Hall of Fame (international auto news)
Las Vegas, Nev. – The highest honor of the Auto International Association (AIA) – a place in its Hall of Fame – was awarded to Mr. Henry P. Allessio, Managing Director of Walden Consultants Ltd. Award ceremonies were the highlight of AIA’s 25th Silver Anniversary celebration (see photo) held in conjunction with AAPEX (Automotive Aftermarket Products Expo) in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Activities of Automotive Aftermarket Industry Week are attended by more than 115 thousand trade visitors, and have more than 2 thousand exhibitors, making it the largest automotive trade event in the world. Exhibitors are from America, Asia, and Europe, and include the largest suppliers in the world. Visitors are from 125 countries.
Mr. Allessio has been involved with the AIA board of directors for most of its 25 years. Allessio’s clients are well represented among vehicle OEMs (original equipment manufacturers) and suppliers from around the world, participating in the Expo. Formerly Mr. Allessio was the association’s Person Of The Year, and received the Distinguished Service Award for outstanding service to automotive aftermarket education.
