BREA, Calif.--American Suzuki Motor Corporation (ASMC) today announced sales of 6,395 units in November an increase of 12 percent over November 2005. Year-to-date sales total 93,673 units, up 24 percent over the previous year.

Suzukis monthly increase in November continues the companys recent overall sales momentum. In 2005, ASMC enjoyed the best sales year in its 21-year history, selling 82,101 vehicles. American Suzuki has already eclipsed its own annual sales record and remains on pace to sell more than 100,000 automobiles in the U.S. this year.

ASMCs November sales increase was led by the sales of its Grand Vitara, which sold 1,815 units, an impressive 28 percent increase over last years numbers. The top-selling Forenza family of vehicles also contributed to Novembers increase, with 3,009 units sold in November.

American Suzuki has already broken its all-time annual sales record, and we look forward to closing this year with the same momentum and achieving even greater levels of success next year, said Koichi Suzuki, president of American Suzukis Automotive Operations. Our current and future success is due to the popularity of the Grand Vitara and the Forenza, and increasing sales of the all-new SX4 crossover.

Suzukis diverse product line now features the XL7 and Grand Vitara SUVs and a variety of cars to match the needs of every lifestyle. The 2007 vehicle line also includes the functional SX4 compact crossover, popular and versatile Forenza sedan and Forenza Wagon, European-styled Reno and sporty, yet fuel-efficient Aerio. The entire vehicle line offers something for everyone and exceeds consumer expectations with stand-out virtues for toughness, leading-edge style and high-end features at prices well below the competition. All 2007 Suzuki automobiles are backed by Americas #1 Warranty: 100,000-mile, seven-year, fully-transferable, zero-deductible powertrain limited warranty.
