VOTING BEGINS FOR USAC'S "MOST POPULAR DRIVERS"

 

 

            Fans can now vote for USAC's inaugural "Most Popular Drivers" from the 2006 racing season in three regions, starting today and continuing through Dec. 21.

 

            Awards will be presented to the USAC National (encompassing Silver Crown, Sprints and Midgets), Western (Sprints and Midgets) and CRA series for their efforts during the 2006 season. The winning drivers will be announced sometime in January and the awards will be distributed at the National and Western awards banquets on Jan. 19 in Indianapolis and Jan. 26 in Arcadia, Calif. respectively.

 

            Drivers must have competed in at least 51 percent of events in any one of the aforementioned series to be eligible for the award. It's simple: the drivers with the most votes in each region will be the winners.

 

            Fans can vote by emailing usacmpd@usacracing.com and may vote only once for each individual email address.
