LOS ANGELES, Nov. 28 -- Arriving in style with 14 completely customized show cars, Al & Ed's Autosound, Southern California's largest and oldest mobile electronics and communications specialist, will exhibit the latest and greatest in mobile electronics and car customization in Kentia "Xtreme Your Ride" Hall at the 2006 Los Angeles Auto Show.

Keeping up with the increased demand for one-of-a-kind aftermarket automotive customizations, Al & Ed's Autosound will treat show attendees to the One-Cup Yukon Denali, complete with a fully functional Tassimo Premium Hot Beverage System; the "Xtreme" FJ Cruiser that takes the Sunday drive to a whole new level with a 37" LCD screen; the 1 million-dollar BMW Sinister 6; and the rare Ferrari F50 with ultra-lightweight iPod stereo system.

The 14 customized vehicles represent the continued commitment of Al & Ed's Autosound to "Xtreme" the vehicles of Southern California -- modifying cars to any specification, at any of their 24 retail locations, from the seemingly modest to the "Xtreme."

"The broad range of vehicles in the Kentia 'Xtreme Your Ride' Hall shows the pinnacle in automobile modification available today," said Gabi Mashal, president of Al & Ed's Autosound. "We are proud to be the official sponsor of the aftermarket hall this year, displaying how we can customize, personalize and modify any of the cool new cars seen at the show to make them one-of-a-kind."

The show cars on display in the Al & Ed's Autosound booth in Kentia "Xtreme Your Ride" Hall include:

Yukon Denali Carpooler: Built with the everyday American in mind, this Yukon Denali provides the ultimate carpooling experience. Passengers can enjoy a fresh cup of coffee or even frothy cappuccino from the Tassimo Premium single serve hot beverage system, custom built in to the center console. Also, there's a custom wine cooler that keeps beverages cool. In addition to the motorized trash can and cup dispenser, this Denali has four motorized LCDs that drop down from the suede headliner, 24" Al & Ed's Autosound custom A-E wheels, custom dual-pipe chrome exhausts, Strut Grill kit, and a complete 22,000-watt Focal sound system integrated into GMC's factory AM/FM/XM navigation. And since passengers might get a little weak in the knees at the sight of all this, Al & Ed's Autosound included motorized Amp-Research steps that deploy automatically when the doors are opened, in less than a second.

Ferrari F50: Number 34 of only 349 F50s built in 1995 for the world, and number 1 of 349 to have an ultra-lightweight iPod-centric sound system. Finally the F50 has been given a voice and it weighs in at a mere 25 lbs, less than 1% of the car's total weight, so it doesn't compromise speed or maneuverability, and the whole system is completely controlled by an iPod. This vehicle includes K40 "undetectable" front and rear radar detectors and laser gun diffuser, custom Tubi exhaust and a complete interior and exterior cosmetic modification to exhibit the rich history of Ferrari.

Xtreme Toyota FJ Cruiser: This FJ cruiser is modified for "Xtreme cruisin" with an Alpine W200 that displays directions from the Alpine Blackbird portable navigation device, video from an iPod, a view from behind the car from the back-up camera installed in the bumper and anything else imaginable. The Rockford Fosgate 3Sixty interactive signal processor and three Alpine amps ensure the music will "pop" while the 22" CEC rims, suede headliner, XBOX 360 and 37" LCD in the tailgate will keep riders attention even after the cruisin'.

Alpine's BMW Sinister 6: Unveiled at the 2006 Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas, Alpine's latest demo vehicle is their most ambitious automotive transformation to date, the team replaced the entire stock bodywork for the BMW 645i with hand built, custom painted fiberglass panels. The Sinister 6 sports a dashboard of five 10-inch monitors, a lone seat set at the center of the vehicle, a built-in Dolby Digital surround sound system, a joystick and an array of Alpine digital processors, amplifiers, speakers and electronic equipment.

Chevrolet SSR Tailgater: An SSR for the true sports fan, the custom-designed truck bed is fully motorized and at the push of a button, reveals a stainless steel propane BBQ, Refrigerator, KVH Tracvision Satellite TV Receiver coupled with a Vizio L32 32" LCD Television and four ECLIPSE 10" subwoofers.
