Addison Auto Center Rewarded for its Past, Plans for its Future
DENVER--In addition to a devoted customer base, another reward for Addison Auto Center’s 25 years of integrity, excellence and technological innovation was their recent finalist designation for the 2006 BBB Torch Award for Marketplace Ethics from the Denver/Boulder Better Business Bureau. The Torch Award is designed to recognize companies with notable ethical behavior and superior business performance.
“To have one of this year’s finalists from the automotive repair and service industry is especially exciting -- we are always pleased when a ‘core BBB’ industry can be recognized,” says Susan Liehe, Vice President of Public Affairs at the BBB. "What impressed us when we visited Addison’s Auto Center was the tangible reality of their non-negotiable standards that they call Unchangeables: Honesty, Excellence, Accommodation, Profitability, and Sharing.”
These Unchangeables are the reason owners Jim and Brenda Addison believe they have been in business for 25 years. What started as a small specialty repair shop in 1982 eventually became a combination body and repair facility for every car make and model. “Staying ahead of expectations, anticipating changes, and providing more than necessary is what we do to ensure our future success,” says Brenda.
This award is not the first time Addison Auto Center has been praised for unparalleled service. In 2005 their website was chosen as one of the top ten automotive repair websites by Auto, Inc. magazine, and in 2004 the auto center was named runner-up for the Communicator of the Year, awarded by the Automotive Service Association.
Addison Auto Center has been in business since 1982 and is located at 2005 Holly Street in Denver, 303-691-9484. Doing more than expected, Addison’s is your one-stop auto shop. www.addisonauto.com
