Chevron’s Lubricants University Introduces New Course on Automotive Gear Lubrication
SAN RAMON, Calif.--Chevron’s Lubricants University, an educational website for maintenance professional, has introduced a new course, “Fundamentals of Automotive Gear Lubrication,” as part of its on-line training portfolio. The module is a self-study, web-based program designed for on- and off-road OEMs and their dealers, construction professionals, lubricant sales representatives and individuals interested in expanding their knowledge of proper gear lubrication.
The “Fundamentals of Automotive Gear Lubrication” course provides information on gear case lubrication and maintenance. In addition, the module offers information to increase understanding of automotive gear types, specific automotive gear lubricants and operation.
“Gear cases are used in a variety of applications including transmissions, transfer cases and power take-off units.
