AutoTrader.Com Title Sponsor of ESPN's Highly-Rated "Drive" Series
ATLANTA--AutoTrader.com, the ultimate automotive marketplace, today announces the renewal of its second season as title sponsor of the highly-rated ESPN ‘Drive’ television series—documenting highlights from four of the most prestigious auto shows in the United States—and its official sponsorship of the Los Angeles Auto Show, December 1 – 10, 2006. The first episode of AutoTrader.com DRIVE will feature highlights from the AutoTrader.com-sponsored Los Angeles Auto Show and will air on ESPN2 January 7 at 11 a.m. ET. Three additional installments of DRIVE, showcasing the Detroit, Chicago and New York auto shows, respectively, will follow in 2007.
AutoTrader.com DRIVE, produced by High Impact Television (HIT), will air on both ESPN and ESPN2 and will capture the thrill of the nation’s most-heralded auto shows while providing viewers an inside look at the hottest new vehicle introductions in 2007, along with expert reviews, test drives and the latest in new automotive trends and technologies, including alternative fuels. New this year, the show will be presented in high definition and the television audience will also be invited to visit www.autotrader.com/drive to view additional exclusive footage from the auto shows and to learn more about the newest model vehicles on the road in 2007.
Now in its fifth season of the show, ESPN and AutoTrader.com introduce Tore Dietrich as host of the AutoTrader.com DRIVE series. With over 1,000 auto show new car introductions under his belt, Dietrich brings 12 years of auto show expertise to the program.
