EUROSTAR launches Euroline brand of consumer electronics and home appliances
at Gitex 2006
Euroline expected to generate primary annual gross of AED 100 million

EUROSTAR Group, a leading regional conglomerate with interests in IT Distribution,
Digital Satellite Receiving Systems, Telecommunications, Real Estate, Central
System Projects and Logistics, has announced its foray into consumer electronics
and home appliances sector with the launch of a wide range of household
and electronics products under the Euroline brand. Euroline was launched
today (Tuesday, November 21, 2006) at EUROSTAR's Gitex Stall located in
Hall 2 of the Dubai International Exhibition Centre (DIEC). The company
expects to generate AED 100 million in the first year of sales for Euroline.
The products under the Euroline brand include Plasma TV's, LCD TV's, Color
Televisions, DVD RW Combo Receiver, Washing Machines, Vacuum Cleaners,
Home Theatre Systems and DVD Players. The Euroline 42" Plasma TV, currently
available at Carrefour, Lulu Center and leading retailers, is the first
product to be launched and uses the Samsung V4 panel and boasts 3D digital
Comp Filer, HDMI input, 250 W PMPO sound output and a picture freeze system.
EUROSTAR has also announced a January launch date for its range of washing
machines, microwave ovens and vacuum cleaners, with air conditioners and
refrigerators following in February in a bid to diversify the company's
offerings.
Raju T. Jethwani, Chairman of EUROSTAR, said, "The launch of our Euroline
brand comes at a time when the demand for home entertainment and consumer
appliances in the region are at an all-time high. The entire range of Euroline
products have been conceptualized with a very high focus on quality, giving

an array of products that are in line with changing consumer demands and
aspirations."
EUROSTAR, currently participating at Gitex, has launched an introductory
promotion where customers buying Euroline LCD TVs will receive a Wall Mount
Bracket, DVD player, four movie tickets and a Digital satellite receiver
free of charge. EUROSTAR IT & Telecom, a part of the EUROSTAR Group, will
be showcasing a complete range of products including Optical Disk Drives,
MP3 / MP4 Players, Home Theatre Systems, and computer Accessories & Peripherals
from its different vendors at Gitex 2006.

of residents and visitors who are expected to do their shopping in the
UAE during Gitex. We are looking at forging strong business partnerships
with our partners in geographically diverse regions and through them touching
consumers' lives and homes globally," Jethwani added. "Our distribution
network within the UAE, GCC, Africa and CIS countries will play a vital
role in distributing Euroline products and creating brand equity. Euroline's
