One New, Four Incumbents Win 2006 SCCA Board Elections

TOPEKA, Kan. (Nov. 16, 2006) - Sports Car Club of America, Inc. announced the results for the five Areas holding elections this month, with one new member joining the Board of Directors, and four incumbents remaining on for an additional three-year term.

Bob Lybarger ran unopposed to become the new director for Area 5. Mike Sauce (Area 7) and Howard Allen (Area 13) won their respective elections, while Bob Introne (Area 1) and Jim Christian (Area 8) ran unopposed for re-election.

Lybarger will join outgoing Area 5 Director Mike Engelke at the December Board meeting before formally taking over the position at the beginning of 2007.

Election ballots were received through November 15, and were tallied by Mize, Houser & Company.
