Argillon LLC Awarded Contract from Mitsubishi Cement Corporation

Argillon LLC to Provide SINOx(R) Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR) System at the Port of Long Beach, California

ALPHARETTA, Ga., Nov. 15 -- Argillon LLC (www.ARGILLON.com) was awarded a significant contract from Mitsubishi Cement Corporation to provide its SINOx(R) SCR system (www.SINOx.com).

The system will abate emissions of Nitrogen Oxides (NOx) from cargo ships unloading bulk material Mitsubishi's facility in the Port of Long Beach, CA. These cargo ships produce emissions while entering, exiting and at berth in the port, and the SINOx(R) SCR system provided by Argillon will be capable of reducing at-berth NOx exhaust emissions by 95 percent or more.

Argillon is working closely with Geomatrix Consulting Engineers, which is an employee-owned firm of consulting engineers and scientists. The firm's capabilities include water resources, environmental engineering, chemical/process engineering, toxicology and risk assessment, air toxics sciences, geotechnical and foundation engineering, earthquake engineering, engineering geology, seismic geology, seismology and geophysics, hydrogeology, and decision analysis.

"We are extremely excited about the opportunity to provide quality air pollution control equipment and solutions to Mitsubishi Cement Corporation," said Argillon's Randy Sadler, "and we look forward to helping our clients meet the very strict environmental air quality requirements in California."

Argillon designs, manufactures, installs and maintains pollution control equipment in power plants, generator sets, industrial manufacturing facilities, marine propulsion engines, and automotive applications. The selective catalytic reduction (SCR) systems manufactured by Argillon reduce the harmful emissions and help meet or exceed the EPA requirements.
