Adam Epperson Houston Raceway Park Sunoco Texas Grand Preview For Immediate Release (11/9/06 - Onalaska, TX) - Dreamchaser Motorsports and driver, Adam Epperson head to Houston Raceway Park this week for the Sunoco Texas Grand, not only is this the Grand Finale to the Dirt Track Speedway race season, but it's the largest event for the dirt track racers. Drivers from all over Texas and surrounding states will converge on Houston Raceway Park for the largest dirt track racing challenge in the area and Adam Epperson will have his UMP modified there to compete for the win. Epperson's last outing at Houston Raceway Park, back in August produced a 2nd place Heat Race Finish and a 10th place Feature Finish. "We will be heading to HRP (Houston Raceway Park) this weekend attempting to make the 2-day show." Said Adam, "Every year Race Time Promotions holds the Texas Grand and we will be going down there to run our modified. We are very hopeful on improving our performance from the 2005 Texas Grand where we brought home a 7th place finish." Epperson added, "After this race, the modified will be set aside for special races only and we will be focusing our attention on the new Latemodel for the 2007 season." Not only is this a huge race for Adam but this will be his last event out with the UMP modified, as beginning in March of 2007 the Dreamchaser Motorsports team will be moving to the Latemodel ranks. "With the announcement from IMCA that they will sanction a Crate Late Model Division, we are going to see how the current IMCA tracks in the area react. We're planning on competing weekly at Houston Raceway Park, we'll see how we pan out there in the track Championship points." Says Epperson, "We've also added 5 SUPR Latemodel events later in the season." Dreamchaser Motorsports has also brought onboard CCC Paving and Canjun Asphalt as associate sponsors for their Latemodel program in 2007 and are still searching for a Primary Marketing Partner. Adam Epperson and Dreamchaser Motorsports will have their UMP Modified at Houston Raceway Park in Baytown, Texas for the 2-day event on Friday, November 9 with Practice for the Sunoco Texas Grand set to begin at 6:00 PM and Heat Races to follow. On Saturday, November 10 Practice is scheduled to roll off at 2:00 PM with Last Chance Qualifying races to begin at 3:00 PM, followed by the features for all classes in the evening. There is an optional practice session on Thursday, November 9 from 6:00 to 10:00 PM.
