FlexRay x-by-Wire Demo
The demo shows how the new automotive networking standard FlexRay, a high-speed bus system for distributed control applications in automobiles, is applied in a Break-By-Wire system. It shows FlexRay capabilities such as high speed communication and channel fault detection.
It uses the MC9S12XDP512 microcontroller for the pedal node and the MC56F8345 DSC for the brake/wheel node. FlexRay connectivity of both nodes is based on Freescale MFR4200 FlexRay communication controller.
Where and when: Wednesday and Thursday, December 6 & 7, at the Grenoble WTC in Grenoble, France. Demonstrations will be given at the IPextreme booth, number 14, during expo hours 9:00 a.m.–6:30 p.m.
