Record exhibitor numbers at the Transmission Expo 2006 / 

77 national and international companies to present new transmissions
concepts at the Transmissions Symposium in early December in Berlin

 

The Transmission Expo, the trade fair which accompanies the CTI
Symposium Innovative Automotive Transmissions, is set to be 50% bigger
than last year's. 2005 saw 50 companies attend, but 77 have already
booked their stand for the trade fair at the Berlin Maritim Hotel on 5
and 6 December 2006.

 

From manufacturers to component developers, all divisions will be
represented at the 1,000 sq m Transmission Expo site, including
transmissions developers such as GIF, Magna, Ricardo and Torotrak, as
well as providers such as Federal Mogul, AVL, Victrex, Bosch and FSG
Automotive.

 

65% of all exhibitors come from Germany, the rest from Europe, including
Electricfil Automotive, a French specialist in sensor technology, and
Graziano Trasmissioni from Italy. Other exhibitors include MIBA from
Austria, Saint-Gobain and DuPont from Belgium and Global Insight from
the UK. Switzerland, the Netherlands and Israel are also represented.

 

Several exhibitors will be presenting papers at the congress, including
Drivetrain Innovations, TRUMPF Laser- und Systemtechnik, Diehl Metall
Schmiedetechnik, teamtechnik, Hottinger Baldwin Messtechnik and
Schaeffler KG.
