PRE-EVENT QUOTES… “Getting into fifth place, that’s all that’s on my mind. We’re only 52 points out of fifth and that definitely is giving us some motivation heading into Pomona. We just need to have some good luck and go some rounds; we’re right where we need to be in order to end this season on a high note.�?? “The fact that we’re the highest ranking Mopar/Dodge team is a great tribute to Dad [Roy Johnson] and our crew. This team has really evolved this season. It’s also a testament to our consistency that we’re in a position to finish in the Top-five.�?? “We’re really focused on this week’s race. Pomona is in the now; next year will be the focal point after we race this weekend. Our goal is to get our first Top-five points finish; as well as keep Richie [Stevens, Jr.] in the Top-10.
