SUMMIT RACING EQUIPMENT SIGNS ON AS TITLE SPONSOR OF NHRA'S INAUGURAL
RACE AT NORWALK RACEWAY PARK
GLENDORA, Calif. (Nov. 7, 2006) - Summit Racing Equipment, an industry
leader in the distribution of performance automotive parts and equipment
through catalogs and the Internet, completed a deal with NHRA to be the
primary sponsor of the Inaugural NHRA Nationals at Norwalk Raceway Park
in Norwalk, Ohio, NHRA Senior Vice President, Sales and Marketing, Gary
Darcy, announced today.
The Summit Racing Equipment NHRA Nationals will be held June 28-July 1
at the quarter-mile track in Norwalk, which is centrally located within
a three-hour drive of six major population centers: Cincinnati, Detroit,
Cleveland, Pittsburgh, Columbus and Toledo. The $1.8 million race will
be televised by ESPN2 and ESPN2 HD and it will be the 12th of 23 events
in the 2007 NHRA POWERade Countdown to the Championship.

progressive company like Summit Racing Equipment has chosen to expand
its relationship with NHRA," Darcy said. "We're confident that this
event sponsorship will greatly benefit Summit Racing's already dynamic
partnership with NHRA."
In addition to the Summit Racing Equipment NHRA Nationals, Summit Racing
Equipment is the primary sponsor of two other POWERade Series events in
2007: the NHRA Summitracing.com Nationals at The Strip at Las Vegas
Motor Speedway, April 12-15; and the Summit Racing Equipment Southern
Nationals at Atlanta Dragway in Commerce, Ga. April 26-29.
Summit Racing Equipment's involvement in the NHRA POWERade Series
extends beyond primary event sponsorship as it serves as the title
sponsor of three-time and defending POWERade Series Pro Stock champion
Greg Anderson and third-year driver Jason Line, who just clinched the
2006 POWERade Series Pro Stock world championship. Summit Racing
Equipment also is the title sponsor of NHRA's bracket racing series that
supports grassroots racers across the country.
