42nd ANNUAL NHRA AUTO CLUB FINALS
AUTO CLUB RACEWAY AT POMONA (CALIF.)
NOVEMBER 9-12, 2006*

*No plans for Line to relax at Pomona *

POMONA, Calif. (November 7, 2006) -- One would think that since Jason
Line, driver of the KB Racing LLC-owned, Summit Racing Equipment-backed
Pontiac GTO, locked up the 2006 NHRA POWERade Pro Stock Championship at
the NHRA ACDelco Las Vegas Nationals last race that he could relax at
the 42nd annual NHRA Auto Club Finals at Auto Club Raceway at Pomona
(Calif.) this weekend.

"Relax -- no way," said Line. "Both (teammate) Greg (Anderson) and I
have to get ready for next year. Things were too close this year. With
all the teams doing their homework, any advantage we used to have is
gone. We have to work hard during the off season to regain the
advantage and we're going to start right here at Pomona.

"The championship pressure is behind us but don't think Pomona is just
going to be a test session. While we might try some new things, we're
still out here to win the race. We owe it to our sponsors, the fans and
to the guys on this team who worked so hard to get us where we are."

Line and teammate Anderson will finish one-two respectively in the final
NHRA POWERade point standings, the fourth consecutive year that a KB
Racing LLC Pontiac, sponsored by Summit Racing Equipment has won the
championship.

Qualifying for Line and his KB Racing / Summit Racing Equipment Pontiac
GTO begins with one session each on Thursday and Friday scheduled for
1:30 p.m. and concludes with two additional sessions on Saturday at 11
a.m. and 2:30 p.m. Line begins his quest for the Auto Club Finals Top
Fuel title on Sunday with eliminations for all classes beginning at 11
a.m. All times are local Pomona time (PT) and subject to change at
anytime.
