Phoenix Motorcars Appoints New CEO
ONTARIO, Calif.--Phoenix Motorcars announced today that it has appointed Daniel J. Elliott as its new Chief Executive Officer, effective immediately. Mr. Elliott, previously with Boshart Engineering and Roush Industries, has a distinguished career in the automobile industry and has specific experience in building electric vehicles.
With over 15 years of industry experience, Elliott has been involved with several alternative fuels projects including methanol, hydrogen ICE, hybrid and battery electric vehicle projects both in project management and business development. Elliott has also worked in brake system, chassis and NVH engineering both in a project management and business development roll. Past projects include projects for the Ford Motor Company, DaimlerChrysler and American Honda as well as tier 1 integrators, system suppliers and government agencies.
