Edmunds' Inside Line Names Scott Oldham as New Editor in Chief

SANTA MONICA, Calif.--Inside Line, Edmunds high-speed online car magazine and the most-read automotive enthusiast Web site, today announced that Scott Oldham has been promoted to its Editor in Chief. Scott was hired two years ago as the publications Senior Editor and was promoted to Executive Editor shortly thereafter.

Scott Oldham will do a great job leading the team at Inside Line, said Kevin Smith, Editorial Director for Edmunds.com and Inside Line. He has solid leadership experience, undeniable passion for cars and a strong commitment to the Web site, so there is no doubt hell continue to build even more momentum for Inside Line among automotive enthusiasts.

Oldham has been an automotive journalist for nearly 20 years. Before joining Edmunds Inside Line, he worked at Sport Compact Car, European Car, Popular Hot Rodding and Popular Mechanics. Scott has also been published in Car and Driver and the Los Angeles Times.

Its been gratifying to see how well Inside Line has been received by the automotive community, said Oldham. It will be a new and exciting challenge to lead the very talented team that makes it happen.

Oldham earned his B.A. in Journalism from Glassboro State College. He lives in Southern California with his wife and two daughters.

Oldham succeeds Richard Homan, who left the position in connection with his upcoming relocation to the East Coast.
