Soundcast Systems CTS-V Racecar Speeds into the Record Books at USFRA World of Speed Race

SAN DIEGO--Soundcast Systems, a leading provider of revolutionary wireless audio transmission systems, today announced that the Soundcast-sponsored Cadillac CTS-V racecar participated in the USFRA World of Speed race at the Bonneville Salt Flats, becoming the first car in two years of the event to make it into the 130 MPH Club. Soundcast Systems Chief Technologist, Eric Booking, piloted the CTS-V in the snow-like conditions created by the BB sized grains of salt on the Salt Flats driving surface.

Soundcast is committed to achieving the pinnacle of both design and performance in all facets of our business, from revolutionary wireless audio products to company sponsored vehicles, said Rusty Bennett, vice president of sales and marketing for Soundcast Systems. Were thrilled that the Soundcast-sponsored CTS-V racecar achieved such a fantastic accomplishment by making it into this prestigious group of racecar drivers.

The USFRA World of Speed race is compiled of stock vehicles with the ambition of achieving the prestigious 130mph club. By limiting the distance to achieve this speed to one mile, two years have passed since a vehicle was able to reach this velocity. This was the first official entry for San Diego-based Soundcast Systems.

About Soundcast

Soundcast Systems is a privately funded wireless technology company offering revolutionary plug and play wireless audio transmission systems that overcome 2.4GHz band interference, and empower digital music enthusiasts to listen to music in high-quality sound throughout the home. In 2005, the company developed a unique 2.4GHz audio transmission technology that prevents transmitted signals from being distorted by outside interference such as cordless phones and microwave ovens. Since then, Soundcast has developed easy to install, modestly priced, high-performance wireless audio transmission systems that send tunes wirelessly from an audio source (such as a digital music player) to an audio sound system anywhere in the home. In 2006, Soundcast announced iCast and AudioCast, which play high-quality audio from digital music players throughout the home. iCast is designed to work exclusively with the iPod, while AudioCast is compatible with non-iPod devices. Without compromising audio quality, Soundcast makes going wireless easy. For additional information, visit www.soundcastsystems.com.
