Vignette Announces 2006 Excellence Awards

AUSTIN, Texas--Vignette today announced Mercedes-Benz USA, Intermountain Healthcare, State Employees Credit Union and Telecom New Zealand have each received a Vignette Excellence Award for their use of Vignettes solutions to enhance online interaction with customers. The Award winners were recognized during Vignette Village, the companys annual user conference.

Mercedes-Benz USA

With Vignette, MBUSA has developed an online Dealer Ordering Guide, virtually eliminating the need for a print version, reducing costs and ensuring customers receive real-time, up-to-date information. In addition, MBUSA also uses Vignette to run its employee intranet and standardize its content management, enabling MBUSA employees to communicate more effectively and enhancing the overall customer experience.

Intermountain Healthcare

Intermountain Healthcare, a recognized technology leader among U.S. healthcare systems, is developing a unified Web presence for physicians, employees and patients to provide a more personalized online experience and ensure the timely delivery of important information. State Employees Credit Union

State Employees Credit Union (SECU) is the second largest credit union in the United States and has been providing the employees and their families with consumer financial services for more than 65 years. SECU uses Vignettes technology to process and store large volumes of checks and statements each day, enabling the credit union to provide members with self-service access to their account information via the Web. To date SECU has processed 450 million checks and 45 million statements, requiring more than 20 terabytes of data in storage.

Telecom New Zealand

Telecom New Zealand, New Zealands leading online and communications provider, uses Vignettes Next-Generation Web solutions to enable web content to be dynamically repurposed to mobile devices and target content to specific device types. The solution allows Telecom New Zealand to more quickly push new content out to customers and continue its market leadership.
