State Auto Boards Elect New Officers

COLUMBUS, Ohio--The State Auto Insurance Companies today announced the appointment of Lorraine Siegworth as Vice President Director of Strategy and Organizational Effectiveness. In addition, Margo Lyon has been named Assistant Vice President Director of Human Resources.

Siegworth was elected vice president of State Auto Financial Corporation, State Automobile Mutual Insurance Company (Mutual), and State Auto Property & Casualty Insurance Company (State Auto P&C). Lyon was elected assistant vice president of Mutual and State Auto P&C.

Siegworth joins State Auto from Nationwide Insurance, where she served in a variety of executive roles at the corporate level and for Nationwide Global Holdings. Her functional experiences include: organizational effectiveness/development, strategy, human resources, marketing and communication. Prior to joining Nationwide, she served in multiple strategic and operations management roles for Sprint Corporation. Siegworth holds both graduate and undergraduate degrees from Bowling Green State University.

Lyon joined the Meridian Insurance Companies of Indianapolis in 1987, prior to their acquisition by State Auto in 2001. She had been serving as director of human resources and administrative services for State Autos Indianapolis office. Lyon holds graduate and undergraduate degrees from Indiana University.
