Virginia Farm Bureau Re-Signs Long Term Agreement with CCC Information Services Inc.
CHICAGO, Nov. 2, 2006 -- Following recent analysis to evaluate the 'work smart' philosophy of its operation, Virginia Farm Bureau has decided to renew an extended, multi-year agreement with CCC Information Services to provide its key claims services and solutions.
"We constantly check to see if we're taking the right steps -- both internally to our company and to our customers -- that allow us to work smart," said Virginia Farm Bureau Central Claims Manager Mike Cook. "An additional part of that verification is to make sure that the right people and corporations are putting such a plan into action. We feel that CCC fits our needs on both fronts."
Debbie Day, CCC's senior vice president of Major Insurance Markets, cited CCC Connect(TM) -- a broadband and wireless communication function -- as an example of being able to meet a need. "It's about understanding and meeting a client's requirements. Virginia Farm Bureau wants to continue providing a positive experience for its customers: that centers on getting their policyholders back in their cars faster," said Day. "CCC Connect can help fulfill that need by giving their field staff the ability to send and receive real-time information via a secure, high-speed wireless connection."
In addition to CCC Connect, Virginia Farm Bureau is utilizing several other CCC functions and solutions.
Included among them are: -- CCC Intellisphere(R): a suite of management reporting tools that provides a snapshot view into business performance. This comprehensive information assists users in making more informed business decisions and managing the appraisal process more efficiently. -- CCC Pathways(R) Appraisal Solution: designed with an integrated approach to the claims process. Appraisers can use the Windows(R)- based CCC Pathways suite with integrated digital imaging, as well as claim-audit and reinspection-management tools all at a reasonable price. Through the use of EZNet(R), CCC's electronic communications network, clients can exchange information quickly and easily with repair facilities or field staff. Other timesaving features include the ability to simultaneously compare the costs of OEM, aftermarket and recycled parts, including related labor costs. -- Recycled Parts Services (RPS): a tool optionally integrated into CCC Pathways(R) Appraisal Solution that provides daily updated information and pricing on recycled parts available from suppliers nationwide. RPS helps streamline the process of writing appraisals by eliminating the need to manually search and document the location and price of recycled parts. -- CCC Valuescope(R) Claim Services: a leading set of total loss claims settlement services that help decrease claim cycle time. CCC Valuescope provides fast, accurate, local market value(R) for private passenger, commercial, and recreational vehicles. About CCC
