Freescale to Present at the MEMS Executive Congress in Phoenix

PHOENIX--Freescale Semiconductor , the leading supplier of automotive semiconductors, will be a featured participant at the annual MEMS Executive Congress to be held Nov. 5-7, 2006, at the Camelback Inn in Scottsdale, Ariz.

Dave Monk, Freescale's automotive sensor operations manager, will present Saving Lives While Gaining Market Share during the Micro-Electro-Mechanical Systems (MEMS) automotive panel, which takes place Monday, Nov. 6 at 9:15 a.m.

Monk will join key executives on the panel to discuss how MEMS-based devices are moving beyond airbag applications and becoming a critical component in many of todays complex automotive systems. The panelists will discuss MEMS technology challenges, current and future capabilities of automotive MEMS and the role of government mandates.

Dave Monk will be available for individual media discussions following the panel.
