Farmers Insurance Group of Companies Announces Hybrid Vehicle Discount in Ohio

COLUMBUS, Ohio--The Farmers Insurance Group of Companies announces a 10% discount for customers who own a hybrid or alternative fuel vehicle.

People are starting to choose environmentally friendly hybrid or alternative fuel vehicles in large part because of high gas prices, said Steve Andersen, President of Farmers Ohio. We are happy to offer drivers who are concerned about the environment and concerned about their pocketbooks a discount, added Andersen.

The discount, effective November 1, 2006 is for all customers who own a hybrid or alternative fuel vehicle. All new business customers will receive the discount as of the new business date and existing customers will receive the discount upon renewal.
