lanelogic Names Chief Technology Officer and Other Executives

DALLAS--lanelogic, the Wall Street inspired automotive network that electronically trades used vehicles among automotive dealers nationwide, formally announces the addition of key executives who will lead the company as it continues to expand in target regions across the United States. The new additions to the staff already are notable professionals in the automotive industry and reinforce the companys efforts in creating a transparent market for used vehicles.

"We are very pleased with the level of experienced professionals who are attracted to lanelogic and have committed to help us grow and flourish our new markets," said Jim OBrien, President of lanelogic. "We welcome each of our new executives and look forward to utilizing their knowledge and skills as we continue our goal to pioneer a new and efficient market for used vehicles."

Sherif Jitan, Chief Technology Officer, has an extensive history of adopting innovative technologies and adapting them to meet business needs. As CTO for lanelogic, Jitan pioneered a novel infrastructure for the lanelogic network by customizing the integration of two distinct platforms; Microsoft and Oracle powered by Linux. During development, Jitan and staff reasoned the most efficient way to generate an equities market for used vehicles was to integrate the best open source technologies, Microsoft and Oracle, to create a highly available infrastructure. Prior to working as a consultant, Jitan co-founded Innotek Consulting, Inc. His career began with Qwest Communications, formally US West Advanced Technologies. At US West, he immediately realized the importance of the internet and introduced it as a transport vehicle for shared information, a revolutionary concept in 1996.

Ziad Chartouni, Vice-President of Development, formally the CIO and co-founder of Innotek Consulting Group, Inc., sold his business to lead the development of lanelogics sophisticated trade floor network. Chartouni utilizes his experience, within the concentration of massive scale ERP applications, by designing and implementing high availability, scalability, and high performance systems. Chartouni began his career as one of the youngest Oracle Consultants hired by PricewaterhouseCoopers to perform Financial Implementations. Since then, he has provided consulting services to Fortune 100 and Fortune 500 clients, including Verizon Wireless and Dallas Independent School District (DISD) who was named innovator of the year at OAUG 2005. His heavy involvement significantly helped DISD to receive the national recognition.

Scott Horton, National Sales Director, is experienced in forging fresh automotive concepts into new territories across the nation. As a trusted resource for many automotive dealers, he carefully selects the products and services he chooses to represent. Horton was the first Regional Sales Representative to join OVE.com where he led the nation in revenue and was named Top Performer for 2005. Prior to that, he worked with AutoTrader.com from its beginning stages and Manheim Interactive as District Sales Manager where he built and trained a sales force. In 2003, Horton became the Regional Auction Consultant for AutoTrader.com and was Top 10 in New Business Revenue in 2002.

Bob Young, National Training Manager, is a 40-year veteran of the automotive industry. His specialty lies within using technology to help develop start-up companies such as American Auto Exchange, cyberXpo.com, InFoman, and ProSource Data Services. Young leads lanelogics Installation Team, working directly with dealers to establish procedures that help ensure profitability.

Louie Evans, Director of Market Support, has built a distinguished 20-year career working for Automatic Data Processing, Inc. (ADP). Recruited directly out of college, Evans moved from his first position as a Field Service Technician to his most recent role as Director of Installation Services for ADPs top automotive dealer clients. He managed a staff of 105 employees, which serviced more than 2,500 dealer roof tops.
