Target Team Fast Facts:

Texas Tidbit: In four starts at Texas Motor Speedway (TMS) in the NASCAR NEXTEL Cup Series (1) and Busch Series (3), Sorenson has not qualified or finished outside of the top 15. His best start is second, which came in the April '06 Busch race and he recorded his best finish of fourth in the Nov. '05 Busch race. His lone Cup event at the track resulted in a 13th-place start followed by a finish in the same position. Sorenson's average start at TMS is 9.75 and his average finish is 8.25. Sorenson has completed every lap of competition in races run at TMS (904) and he has led a total of 31 laps.

Kraft on the Quarter Panel: The Kraft Foods logo will adorn the upper-rear quarter panels of the red and white Target Dodge this weekend at TMS. For more information on Kraft Foods please visit www.kraft.com <http://www.kraft.com/>

Meet Reed in Texas: Reed Sorenson will stop by the Discount Tire store located at 2405 Grapevine Mills Circle in Grapevine, Texas from 4:30 to 6 p.m. CT Thursday, November 2, to sign autographs and meet area race fans.

Habla usted espaņol?: Chip Ganassi Racing with Felix Sabates (CGRFS) announced earlier this week its official website-www.chipganassiracing.com <http://www.chipganassiracing.com/> -has expanded its online arsenal to include a fully-functioning Spanish microsite located at http://espanol.chipganassiracing.com <http://espanol.chipganassiracing.com/> . The initial Spanish site will work to immediately accommodate the outpouring of Juan Pablo Montoya fans and media that have spiked the website's traffic number since the Montoya-Ganassi announcement in July. CGRFS plans to incorporate all of its teams in the months to come. Visitors can also access the Spanish site by selecting the "En Espanol" button in the navigation scheme on the team's homepage.

Chassis: Crew Chief Jimmy Elledge and the No. 41 Target Team have selected chassis #402 for this weekend's race at TMS. This car has run twice this season, posting top-10 finishes in both races (Chicagoland - seventh, second Michigan - eighth).

NEXTEL Cup Points Report: Sorenson and the No. 41 team maintained their 25th position in the overall standings after finishing 29th in the last event at Atlanta. With a total of 3131 points, the team is only 170 points out of 20th.

Rookie Round Up: Sorenson is currently third in the Raybestos Rookie of the Year standings with 195 points. He trails leader Denny Hamlin by 87 points and second place Clint Bowyer by 29. Sorenson has captured rookie of the race honors in five of the 33 races run thus far in '06 (Atlanta - 10th, Martinsville - 12th, Michigan - fifth, Chicagoland - seventh, Michigan 2 - eighth).

Busch Series Update: Sorenson remains 10th in the Busch Series driver standings after finishing seventh in the last event at Memphis Motorsports Park, and he is only 40 points out of ninth.

Reed Sorenson on Texas...

"The Target team overcame a lot of adversity last week in Atlanta and managed to get a respectable finish. It certainly wasn't what we were looking for going into the weekend, but based on how the month of October has been it was a small victory. A couple of my friends have started calling me Mr. October as a joke. Seriously though, after the Atlanta race I got the feeling that our luck is going to change, and we're heading into a new month.

"We had a strong run in the spring race at Texas in the Cup car, and we've had some successful runs in the Busch car there. I like the track and we should be a little better the second time around. We've run the car we're taking twice this year and we've scored top-10 finishes both times. I'd like to keep that streak going with another strong finish this weekend.
