Mechanical failure forces early exit for Keselowski

Millington, Tenn. –The Sam’s Town 250 ended early for Brad Keselowski after mechanical failure forced him from the track.

Keselowski qualified 13th, a career best on the NASCAR Busch Series, but a broken rear end gear finished his day after lap 102 and he ended in 41st position.

“We’re disappointed because we qualified so well and we were expecting a strong race,” said crew chief Ronnie Griffin. “But that’s racing.”

The race was won by Kevin Harvick, who recorded his eighth victory of the season on the NASCAR Busch Series. The series will be in Texas on Saturday where Keselowski will attempt to qualify for his sixth consecutive event in the O’Reilly Challenge at Texas Motor Speedway.
