AIAG Conference Presents RFID End-User Applications Through Success Stories and Exhibits

DETROIT, Oct. 30, 2006 -

WHAT: The Automotive Industry Action Group (AIAG) continues to build awareness of RFID technology by hosting its third annual RFID Summit on Nov. 2, 2006, featuring end-user applications from automotive, commercial aviation, government and retail detailed in success stories and exhibits.

WHO: Forward thinkers in RFID from DaimlerChrysler Corp., Ford Motor Co., AMR Research, The Boeing Co., Department of Defense, EPCglobal and Michelin will present trends, strategies and proof of concepts for RFID implementation to achieve complete asset visibility and compliance with federal regulations, such as the TREAD Act. Approximately 25 companies will display supporting hardware and software on the exhibit floor. Local exhibitors include AIM Computer Solutions, Avery Dennison, Datanational Corp., Freedom Technologies Corp., Lowry Computer Products, Radley Corp., Toolworx and Unibar. Interview opportunities are available.
